Aim, structure and tasks of the organization
NISSE manages the social security of the self-employed.
We:
- determine the applicable legislation for self-employed
- determine the pension rights for self-employed
- have our own social insurance fund, the National Aid Fund, which, like the other private funds, is responsible for the application of social security legislation for self-employed workers.
- handle applications for exemption from social contributions at the Contribution Exemption Service (DVR)
- fight against social fraud to ensure fair competition for the self-employed.
