Joint-Letter : Call for Integrating Social and Health ambitions into the next EU Strategic Agenda
The European Social Insurance Platform (ESIP) has signed a joint-letter, alongside 19 Social and Health organisations, calling for "Integrating Social and Health ambitions into the next EU Strategic Agenda 2024-2029".
As the current European legislature comes to an end, it is time to reflect on the achievements of the past term. These shall enable the European institutions to build an environment that set a Social and Health components high in the EU priorities for the five years to come. The ambitious Spanish and Belgian presidency of the European Council gave the Member States a momentum to move towards this dynamic. Therefore, 20 Social and Health stakeholders came together to call in a joint-letter the EU leaders and EU Member States to keep these topics high in the EU agenda as we, the 20 co-signatories think that it should be "a prerequisite to achieving a “strong, dynamic, competitive and cohesive Europe".
